This has been the best trip and we have to give Robyn a giant THANK YOU! Also to Nick and Keith for all of the wonderful gifts they provided for Robyn's Photo Contest. Hopefully Robyn will post about this later. Wow! Also the folks at wakatobi gave some swag also. Eveyone has had a great time. The staff at Wakatobi has been nothing but nice, food is good, and the rooms are just lovely. Diving is spectacular for us!

We returned to Bali today for 2 night and then Troy and I fly to China for 5 days. Robyn, Ellen B, Ellen Q, and Kay and Tom are headed for lembeh when we fly to China. The rest of the group is headed home.

Hope you enjoy the pics. Scott   P.S. I'll post some of Troy's when we get home, he did very well for his first time!!!

Lion Fish on the House Reef

Nemo!!!

Cuttlefish

Leaf Scorpion Fish

Nudi, sorry no id book

Blue Spotted Stingray

Anemone Fish, Skunk?

Blue Sea Stars, one of my favorites!

Anyway, bye for now, will post a slide show in a few weeks. Scott

Absolutely gorgeous shots, Scott!  I'd love to see a whole slideshow of these when you get home and get the chance!  I'm so glad you hear it's been such a wonderful trip - hope everything goes well in China!

Excellent shots...of course I love the little "Nemo".
The cuttlefish looks like it is posing for you.

Your images have been outstanding Scott. Glad to hear the adventure was everything you hoped for, and apparently more.:)) Bali and Wakatobi are indeed very special places and great introductions to Indo diving.
Safe Travels..

You should be in China by the time you read this. I hope you and Troy had a nice flight.  This is the first chance I've had to be on the Internet since that Internet Cafe in Bali a couple days ago.  Nice to check in with the board and see your images.  You did a nice job with the blue sea stars image.  I really like it a lot.

We're here in Lembeh now and our flights to get here were good and on time.

Cheers,

Ellen

....Very nice!  I'm jealous that you got a close up shot of a blue-spotted stingray.    I didn't manage to get one of those!
Yes, our stay at Wakatobi was like a dream and I'm happy that everything turned out so well.
We arrived at the Lembeh Resort today and we're eager to begin our diving in the morning.
Actually...one member of the group already got a head start!  Ellen B. had her gear assembled in no time flat after arriving and went for a dip at dusk tonight.  She got an awesome shot of a blue-spotted stingray and many shots of Bangaii Cardinalfish.  I can't wait to hit the water in the morning.
It's so pretty here in Lembeh.  It's very mountainous and everything is so, so green.  I hope to be able to post some pics and a mini-report in a few days.  Robyn

Oscar, Robyn, Robin, and John, thanks for the encouraging words, there's more to come. Slide show in about 2 - 3 weeks. Thanks again, wait till you see some of Troy's shots... Scott

what some say about Wakatobi being dive Nazi's is not true, they must be bad divers that were complaining. No one was bad to us, only nice and extremely nice at that! What a great team... Scott

Angie, you have enough going on right now, thanks. It's so very hard when you loose your pets, We know it first hand. Thanks

Ellene, Christi, Mike, and Lydia, thanks. There will be a slide show or two after I get the chance to go through the many slides. Two more days of work in China and then we fly home, arriving in Atlanta at 7 a.m.. I'm sure the jet lag will be tough arriving at that time of day. Looking forward to being home for a while. Heard from the Lembeh Five and all is well, seems like they are having a ball! Sure wish we were there instead of here, the smog is about to kill me.
