I recently broke my old Hammerhead underwater squawker. I purchased the Dive Alert Plus for considerable sum and used it yesterday. Amazz has the old Hammerhead and when both were tested at depth, her was much louder. Did I get screwed, the new DAP's are just not that loud. BTW you can't find the old Hammerheads anywhere. Is there another brand that would compare to the Hammerhead?

I purchased one last year, brand name Aquatech. I have nothing to compair it with, but I am deaf without my hearing aid and this thing got my attention.

Haven't tried them yet. The dang wind won't stop howling. It's been two weeks since my last dive. I hope I don't revert back to MADNESS.
