To increase the board traffic I thought it would be good to try to estimate the $$'s that Chuck will spend at DEMA (plus I feel the need to stir up some shit).

OK, I will start us off at $425

More clarification, please.

Does it include the drinks Chuck will buy me at happy hour?

Technically, most of Amazz's expenditures would not be classified as purchases, but rather as 'Deposits" towards the future trip account as she proceeds to each liveaboard booth negotiating, Buy 4, get 4 spots free{air included}.

Chuckitall and I will  be trash talking in the Riffe booth with Cam and the other world champions arguing at great lengths on the arse shot (or haircut) the other person put on their last fish.

Now Cam's buddy last weekend just coolered a pending world record mango which does deserve some respect.  I think I may be the one in trouble since I don't have anything I need to purchase, but I have several appointments to talk to the new programmable computers like the Liquidvision. The dive computers are changing in that it has nothing on it and then you need to go buy the software, program it your self. A couple of grand later and it will pretty much do anything you want.

On a side note, I picked up my badge today and talked to Wayne from Aggressor, couple of NuAir friends, saw NetDoc on the sidewalk, and sat in on the DEMA board of Directors listening session. I also think attendance from the Florida contingent should be very good, due to the 5-7 foot waves all weekend and everyone is blown out on both florida coasts. I've gotten a couple of phone calls today from divers coming.

I've got a DAN seminar tomorrow on UltraSound data collection, a sales seminar, several meet & greets, and a computer file to drop off. Busy 1st day, but I'll try to put up a report very late in the afternoon with some picts.

lifetime that I plan to book while I'm there?  Or are our purchases separate?  I didn't read the rules for this contest.

Let's see:  We definitely plan to do business with Mr. Carter (of the Carter lift bag family.)  Roland St. John has some new jewelry designs (me me me).

Thinking about heading to the dark side (which dark side?  it's a secret until I try it.)

We'll post the husband and wife totals separately.  GAME ON!

THANKS JEFF,  I'm down to 3 sets of fins and 3 BC's, so I'll be looking for a deal.  Oh, I forgot you left a set of Atomics at my house I can wear anytime or Ebay. LOL

The over/under is related to Chuck's purchases only - all equipment and clothing items are fair game. Long range payments for items like travel are to be exluded.

I decidedly left Angie out of the game.

Some of you may be wondering about my perverted motivation. Simply put, I need Chuck as he impacts the "average" and places me closer to the center of bell curve. For example, I dive 4 sets of fins (that doesn't include my son's Atomics that Chuck is holding for me).

Oh, I'm definitely saying he'll go over - hell, one new gun and he's over... My guestimate is $550.

OK...I'm thinking "Over"

And the "Dark Side" for Angie. She already has a BP. I think I have an idea what it might be so I'm saying "Way Over" (even surpassing Chuck)

And how do these divers get into DEMA? I thought it was trade only? Or I guess you gotta know someone huh? Hmmm...

My god, I can't believe you are even considering doing that. If  you think the women on this board talk about your avatar, just you wait!. But all the men will admire you !!!

I know there are hidden secrets, but once you try it, you won't be able to stop yourself...........................

I just had this vision of you diligently studying in the library when all of a sudden your head snaps up from your book and you look around intently trying to decide if you heard something or not.  All the other students look at you strangely because they didn't hear anything and are all wondering why you're so jumpy.

First off, I've been tingly all day over the mere thought. :D

Wait...! You've already got a way in, girl... Put your shirt down! ;) although, I award you extra points for "getting creative" on getting in to DEMA (I'll pass this time )

Lol

I like to keep my shirt down and not up over my head.

Although I am with you on the fact it does make your surroundings wicked dark for a sec :)

lifting my shirt certainly wouldn't impress anybody.  I was not "blessed" with the boob gene.  Still, as I age, less to sag.  So there is a positive.

Umm...does this figure include the blackmail fees that Chuck will have to pay me for the incriminating photos I plan to take at the D2D happy hour on Friday?  Robyn
