Although the DEMA show seemed to have fewer exhibitors and fewer attendees this year, I still enjoyed the show immensely and found that there was plenty to see and do. In fact, I didn't get to see and do everything I wanted to in just two short days..but I definitely hit upon the highlights! I was so busy 'seeing' and 'doing' that I didn't really take any pics during the show, but one kind person used my camera to take this pic at the REEF booth on Friday afternoon: from left ---> right, reefgazer23(moi!), Anna DeLoach, kfish, wideangle REEF continues to endeavor to preserve the health and preservation of our reefs by conducting (and instructing on) fish counts, teaching fish ID, studying and educating the public on the threat of invasive species (with lionfish being at the top of the list!), studying Nassau Grouper spawning activity....AND SO MUCH MORE! Please check them out and help out in any way you can: Friday was my last day at DEMA and what a better way to end it than to see old friends and meet new ones at the D2D happy hour! Here's a few of my pics: left--->right, ellene, divecandy (occipital view!), Pat, Amazz, Chuckitall, chrisp left--->right, waterbug, ellene left--->right, amazz, chuckitall, divecandy, debersole-cut off (sorry!) It was great having the chance to meet debersole, the doc who mended the PFO's of ellene, amazz, and Pat. I'm glad that I finally had the chance to speak with him about my potential induction into the PF'Ho' club. left--->right, fugu, wideangle, kfish left--->right, st. Martin(Sport Diver Mag), PWuest, CaSDEditor, waterbug left--->right, Johnoly, Randy As always, it's great when the D2Ders get together and I can hardly wait for the next event--the lemon shark dives!
